Mane 6 Chibi Amigurumi

These little guys are for the Amigurumi Challenge group contest.  The pattern used is called Strawberry Moshi.  I used cotton yarn (Sugar and Cream and Berant's Handicrafter) for these little ponies with a D size or 3.25 hook.  The Cutie Marks were crocheted in embroidery floss with a B size or 1/2.25 size hook.  The applicaques were all sewn on or embroidered on. 

I like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and it is hard to find a good pattern to make these ponies in that free on-line.  When I saw this little pattern, I thought it would make a nice little Chibi style pony dolls.  I did have to shorten the ears a bit and add tiny little nub feet to them, but I love how they come out, expecually Fluttershy (the yellow pony) and Applejack (the orange pony).
